Hi, my name is Coach Julie and I have been a professional personal trainer and health coach for more than 20 years.

As a result, I believe that body movement keeps a body young.

It is a certainty that technical experience is an important benchmark when choosing a trainer, so is life experience. Living an active childhood, learning strength training in my teens was a healthy beginning.

Next was bodybuilding in my 20’s and finally, learned how to tone it down and be comfortable with a leaner fitness physique after my 30’s. While certainly not as buff as I have been, am still incredibly strong and agile.

Many years of discipline and physical effort ensures that I have the experience to understand you on your own fitness journey.

What sets me apart in the field of coaching?

I have continued my education beyond bodybuilding to include:

  • exercise programming for general fitness
  • coaching special populations
  • natural movement instructor
  • advanced heart rate training
  • stationary rowing efficiency techniques
  • suspension training
  • multiple disciplinary skills in martial arts, self defense and yoga just to name a very few learned tools of my trade.

I am always learning

I continue my education religiously in the field of fitness as it is an ever-changing world. Having the benefit of training with hundreds of people, has helped me to understand the compelling psychological reasons that people turn to a trainer for help.

The mental aspects of exercise are an integral part of any training program. My ability as a professional trainer can recognize when you are stumbling and when you are on target with your efforts. I live to coach and to help people find their own strength.
